Why Brampton Homes for Sale?

Favorable real estate prices and a diverse population are just the immediately obvious reasons why Brampton, Ontario is a great city in which to live. Less quantifiable are the welcoming attitudes of Brampton residents, the knowledgeable Brampton real estate agents and the way neighborhoods come together for block parties and charity functions. These functions are great opportunities to get to know your neighbors. You could also sign up for one of the many classes offered by local recreation centers. All the homes and infrastructure don’t take away from the charm or nature that is still preserved in Brampton, however. The city maintains an extensive network of parks, trails and beaches where you can hike, bike, ski, swim, or just relax if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of work.

For those of you who will be looking for employment in the city, Brampton is home to several headquarters offices for companies such as HBC and Bacardi as well as a thriving logistics and manufacturing sector. However, most people choose Brampton because it is a convenient commute to Toronto. Car owners will find that there are several routes into the city. Toronto’s 401 highway is a short hop along the 410 in Brampton while the 407 and Steeles Avenue are both straight shots into the city. Owning a car isn’t necessary to get around though, since Brampton transit connects with the bus systems in all the neighboring cities and the GO Train provides service directly to Toronto.

Families choose Brampton for the many options its school system provides for their children. Primary to Grade 12 education is provided in both English and French and parents can choose to have their children educated in the Catholic faith if they wish, for the Church offers a second school board parallel to the secular one. Continuing education options include Sheridan College, which is the second largest art and design school in North America, and easy access to universities in Toronto proper. Brampton residents that are new to Canada also often make use of the public school board’s evening ESL classes.

It is comforting to know that you will be well cared for if anything happens to you, and Brampton’s health care system provides you with this feeling. Brampton Civic Hospital is part of one of the largest health care complexes in Canada and is one of the largest employers in the city. It has a capacity of more than 600 beds and can handle emergency medical care, cancer, cardiac problems, diabetes treatment, addiction recovery, diagnostic imaging, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, and mental health.
